Mad GunZ Online Game combines blocky characters with keyboard-and-mouse action. Start through the Guest screen, continue to the main menu and use Battle to reach the character setup. Starting and choosing a character

The main menu includes Battle and Server List. The character screen displays separate bars for Health, Speed, Regeneration and Noise. Compare those attributes together rather than choosing only the longest health bar. Think about whether you would prefer to practise movement or take a more measured approach, then try a character that suits that intention. The displayed bars let you compare choices, but they should not be treated as a guarantee that one character will win every situation.

Keyboard controls to learn first

The in-game instruction panel lists W, A, S and D for directional movement, Space to jump and C to crouch. Shift is shown for running, F for interacting and G for throwing an item. Mouse input is also part of the control layout. Keep the distinction between movement and an action key clear: pressing interact does not replace moving close enough to something you want to use.

Practise a short movement sequence before trying to combine everything. Move forward, stop, turn and then add a jump. When that feels manageable, test crouching and running separately. This makes it easier to notice which input caused an unexpected result. Use the game's own prompts for the action available in your current situation, rather than assuming that every object or item responds in the same way.

Make your first attempts easier to read

Keep an eye on the space immediately around your character as well as the direction you want to travel. Moving continuously without deciding where to stop can make it harder to understand an encounter. Choose a short route, observe what is ahead and use a clear next action. If an attempt goes badly, identify whether the problem was positioning, an unfamiliar key or a rushed decision before changing your approach.
