Castle Crashers: Stolen Sun

A kingdom has lost its daylight in Castle Crashers: Stolen Sun. Choose an elemental knight and travel through a 2D fantasy brawler with 36 story stages, optional routes, enemy groups and boss encounters. Striking and elemental skills handle combat, while exploration brings salvage for improving tools and armour.

Clear the route through each stage

Use WASD or the arrows to move, J or left click to strike and build a combo, K or right click for a skill, and Space to jump. Escape or P opens options, and M mutes. Touch controls provide movement, Jump, Skill and Strike buttons.

The immediate tasks include clearing guards, hitting red levers and reaching exits. If progress stops, check the route and its interactive objects before assuming another enemy must appear. Optional branches offer exploration, but keep track of the way back toward the stage's exit.

Learn from the next checkpoint attempt

Checkpoint retries and persistent progress support repeated attempts. Use a retry to change a particular decision, such as where you begin an attack or when you use an elemental skill. Watching the response gives you more useful feedback than pressing every action at once.

Salvage and equipment improvement sit alongside the stage journey. Check the actual tool and armour choices available before spending what you collect. For a change of pace between combat stages, the Arcade collection offers other browser challenges.
