Neon Rocket Game

Neon Rocket Game makes the journey through an obstacle course a balancing problem. Guide the glowing rocket past the barriers without touching them, and collect the stars along the route for a complete result. After a narrow opening, the rocket still needs room to prepare for the next barrier.

Balance before chasing the stars

On desktop, use A and D to move the rocket. On mobile, use the buttons shown on the screen. Spend the opening moments learning how the rocket responds to each direction. A longer input and a brief correction do not serve the same purpose, so watch the result of a movement before immediately adding another.

Read the space around the next obstacle rather than steering straight toward a star. First find a safe approach, then consider where you can collect the star without putting the rocket against a barrier. If you repeatedly touch the same corner, change the approach to that section instead of making every movement more forceful.

Make the next correction smaller

Try to enter a gap with enough room to adjust on either side. That gives you a useful margin if the rocket is not aligned as expected. Recovering from a large last-second correction can be harder than making two measured adjustments earlier. Treat an unsuccessful attempt as information about where your control started to drift.
