Cut The Rope asks you to deliver a suspended candy to Om Nom while using the scene's ropes and motion deliberately. Stars add another routing challenge, so a successful delivery and a complete collection can require different levels of precision. The candy keeps moving after a cut; where it is going matters as much as where it is.

Plan the supports before cutting

Locate the candy, Om Nom and the available stars. Predict the candy's fall, then identify which rope should remain attached longest. Removing one support can create a swing around another, giving you a way to reach a star before the final release. Use the cutting interaction demonstrated by the game and avoid gestures that cross unintended ropes.

Learn from a near miss

If the candy passes beside the mouth, inspect its sideways movement at release. If it never approaches a star, reconsider the sequence rather than repeating the same cuts faster. Keep successful early steps and adjust the first step where the route differs from your plan. Additional objects should be used according to the instructions shown when they appear.
